Peak Proteins is a rapidly growing business based just north of Macclesfield in Cheshire. The company specialises in bespoke protein production and characterisation using a range of expression systems for use in drug discovery or research projects. We also perform X-ray crystal structure determination and protein mass spectrometry as additional services.
These high-quality proteins are often taken forward for X-ray structure determination and we have a strong track record in generating novel or precedented protein structures, with and without ligands. Working with pharmaceutical and biotech organisations, we are collaborative in nature, research led, providing commercial solutions to often challenging problems.
We are continually looking for inspired scientists in the fields of cell culture, protein expression, protein purification, protein crystallisation and structure determination. Our scientists are outstanding, many with years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
We work together creatively and flexibly and like to have fun while doing great science. We are looking for capable, honest, enthusiastic individuals who love working as part of a team and are ambitious to empower the business to grow and succeed.
